19″ of Virgin Ginger Glory!

This glorious mane of RARE ginger-colored locks belongs to a 12-year-old boy! This boy, we’ll call him, say, Liam, is not much a fan of showers — perhaps he’s allergic to water, eh? 😉

So, his hair gets washed once a week, if I’m lucky enough to force him into the bathroom!

We use a biotin shampoo and conditioner, rinse hair mask and leave-in conditioner. I can occasionally get him to let me do a coconut oil treatment as well! The attached photos are of his hair drying naturally, so very straight and very shiny!

His hair is long, and thick, so he absolutely refuses ANYTHING to do with blow drying or heat because of the sheer amount of time it would take to actually dry it! Yes, magnificent virgin redness on this head!

He initially kept his hair growing because he said, “I like the compliments.”

Now, he says, “It is too hot and too much work, and besides, I want to upgrade my VR system!”  He already usually just keeps it pulled back in a loose scrunchie tied ponytail.

Who am I (mom) to stand in the way of a newly minted pre-teen’s dream?! He just turned 12 on July 19th!

One of the hair calculators estimated $670, so he said to just round up to a nice number and that he is open to offers. Again, his hair, his listing.

I asked what he wanted with the money, because he RARELY buys OR wants things for himself, he said, “Uhm, just to put it in my savings for later to buy stuff I might want, and things for the cats. And when I get older, invest it to get more money, for the cats and other stuff.” We just rescued FOUR MORE kittens.. so now there’s 8 rescues in our home….. ugh..

He wants to keep adopting and rescuing cats and have some type of cat sanctuary.. I should mention that he is also autistic with ADHD, like his mother, ha, and is MUCH MORE concerned with taking care of animals and OTHERS, than he is with spoiling himself!

So, buy this awesome hair so this little weirdo can take care of his cat army, and perhaps start taking more showers, haha! His family will be VERY greatful! 😉
